How can I pay for an upgrade to my family site?

You can pay for a family site upgrade or for Family Tree Builder with a credit card, a PayPal account, check or wire transfer.

You can find this option under Settings > Site Account.

Payments can be made in USD, EUR or GBP. If you need to find out how much it will cost in your local currency, use an online currency conversion tool to get the most up-to-date exchange rate. Search Google for “currency converter”.

When you purchase a Family Tree Builder upgrade you get access to the Premium features for LIFE. You never have to pay again.

When you purchase an upgrade for a family site, the upgrade is for a certain number of years. If you buy one year, then you’ll need to upgrade again after the year has ended.

Payments are one-time, billed annually. A family site upgrade that costs $5 per month will be billed as 12×5 or $60.

We still don’t have a monthly payment option, but we know it will be easier for many of you and are working on it.

*Family Site upgrades are PER SITE. MyHeritage.com members can potentially have many family sites. Each site that exceeds the site quota will need to be upgraded.
